Privacy Policy
This policy describes how MP BIP s.r.o. handles personal information in connection with the website kinetichub.online. It is written under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, because the site is published for readers in Australia, and it includes a short section on European rules because the publisher is established in the Czech Republic.
1. Who is responsible for this site
The entity responsible for the personal information described in this policy is:
MP BIP s.r.o.
Lukavecká 1732, Horní Počernice, 193 00 Prague 9, Czech Republic
Company number: 10776630
VAT: CZ10776630
Email: info@kinetichub.online
MP BIP s.r.o. decides what appears on this site and how it operates. Enquiries about this policy, and requests concerning your personal information, go to the email address above.
2. What is actually collected
The honest answer is very little, and it is worth stating precisely rather than in general terms.
Nothing is collected through the site itself
There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account, no comment section, no quiz, no survey and no search box on this website. There is no input field of any kind. Nothing you do while reading is recorded by us, and no profile of you is built.
No cookies, and no storage in your browser
This site sets no cookies of its own and permits no third party to set a cookie through it. It uses no analytics, no advertising or conversion tags, no tracking pixels, no social media embeds and no session identifiers. It does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB, and it performs no device or browser fingerprinting. Because there is nothing to consent to, there is no consent banner. This is described further in the cookie policy.
Ordinary server logs, kept by our hosting provider
Like any website, this one is delivered by a web server, and that server records a log entry for each request. A log entry contains the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data sent, the browser's user agent string and, where the browser sends one, the referring address. These logs are generated and held by the hosting provider that operates the server on our behalf.
Whatever you choose to put in an email
If you write to info@kinetichub.online, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever else you decide to include. We ask you not to send sensitive information; we have no need for identity documents, payment details or health information, and email is not a secure channel for them.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, including Australian government services and a vendor's website reached through a paid link. Those websites are operated by other organisations under their own privacy policies. Following a link means your browser makes a request to that organisation, which will receive your IP address and may set cookies of its own. We have no control over, and no access to, what they do.
3. Why each category is handled, and on what basis
| Category | Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Server log entries | Delivering pages, diagnosing faults, protecting the server against attack and abuse | Necessary for the ordinary operation and security of the site; the publisher's legitimate interests in running it safely |
| Email correspondence | Reading and answering what you asked, and keeping a record of the exchange | Your own act of writing to us, and the publisher's legitimate interest in responding and in keeping a record |
We do not use any of this for marketing, we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not combine it with information from other sources.
4. How long information is kept
- Server logs: retained for up to 30 days in the ordinary course, then deleted or overwritten by the hosting provider. A log relating to a specific security incident may be kept longer while that incident is investigated, and for no more than 12 months from the date of the incident.
- Email correspondence: kept while the matter is open and for up to 24 months after the last message in the exchange, then deleted. Where correspondence must be kept longer to meet a legal or accounting obligation, it is kept only for the period that obligation requires.
5. Who information is disclosed to, including outside Australia
Two categories of recipient exist, and there are no others.
- Our hosting provider, which operates the server delivering this site and holds the server logs described above.
- Our email provider, which transmits and stores messages sent to and from info@kinetichub.online.
Both act for us under contract, and neither is permitted to use the information for its own purposes. No advertising network, analytics company, data broker or social media platform receives anything from this site, because nothing on this site sends them anything. This site loads no external fonts, scripts, stylesheets or images, so your browser makes no request to any third party while you read a page here.
Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). MP BIP s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, and the hosting and email providers it uses operate servers located outside Australia, including in the European Union. This means that personal information described in this policy — principally IP addresses in server logs and the contents of emails you send us — is disclosed to and held by recipients outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, through the contractual terms we hold with them. By writing to us or by browsing this site, you should understand that the information involved is handled overseas.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and our server is encrypted. Administrative access to the server and to the mailbox is limited to the individuals within MP BIP s.r.o. responsible for the site, protected by unique credentials and multi-factor authentication. Because the site collects nothing and stores nothing about readers beyond the logs described above, the quantity of personal information exposed by any failure is correspondingly small — which is itself a deliberate part of how the site was built.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
7. Your rights, and how to use them
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
Write to info@kinetichub.online. Tell us what you are asking for and give us enough detail to locate the information; in practice, for this site, that means the email address you wrote from. We will respond within 30 days. Access and correction are provided free of charge. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will explain why in writing.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request or your complaint, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the independent privacy regulator for Australia. The Commissioner generally expects you to have raised the matter with us first and given us a reasonable opportunity to respond.
8. Data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to an individual whose personal information is involved, MP BIP s.r.o. will assess it promptly and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 requires it, notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
9. Children
This site is written for adults — parents, carers and adult players — and is not directed at children under 16. It collects nothing from any reader, including children. We do not knowingly hold personal information about a child, and if a child writes to us we will answer the question if it is a reasonable one to answer and will not retain the correspondence beyond what is needed to do so.
10. European and United Kingdom rules
Because MP BIP s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing. Where it does, the legal basis relied on is Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests: operating and securing the website, and answering correspondence. There is no consent basis for anything on this site because the site sets no cookies and runs no tracking, so there is nothing that would require consent.
Under the GDPR, and under the equivalent United Kingdom rules where they apply, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Exercise any of them by writing to info@kinetichub.online. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the country where you live or work; for the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date at the top. Substantive changes — for example, if this site ever began to collect something, which would require the cookie policy and a consent mechanism to change in the same release — will be described in a short note on this page for at least 90 days after the change. Continued use of the site after a change means the revised policy applies to it.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, requests about your personal information, and privacy complaints all go to info@kinetichub.online, or by post to MP BIP s.r.o., Lukavecká 1732, Horní Počernice, 193 00 Prague 9, Czech Republic.
