Disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
Kinetic Hub carries paid links. This page explains what that means in practice: who pays, what triggers a payment, what the payment influences, and what it does not. It is written to be read rather than skimmed, because a disclosure nobody understands is not a disclosure.
The arrangement, in one paragraph
MP BIP s.r.o., the publisher of this site, participates in an affiliate programme through an advertising network. Links on this site to Star Stable Online are affiliate links. When a reader follows one of those links and creates an account with the vendor, the network pays MP BIP s.r.o. a commission. That commission is the only revenue this site produces.
What it costs you
Nothing. The commission is paid by the advertising network out of the vendor's marketing budget, not added to anything you pay. Whatever the vendor charges, if you choose to spend anything at all, is the same as it would be had you typed the vendor's address into your browser directly. Following an affiliate link does not enrol you in anything, does not change the offer you see, and does not oblige you to do anything after arriving.
What triggers a payment
Account creation. The arrangement pays on a reader installing the game and registering an account, not on a reader reading this site, and not on a reader spending money afterwards. We mention that specifically because the shape of a commission tells you where a publisher's incentive sits, and you are entitled to know where ours sits before you weigh what we have written.
What the commission influences
Two things, and we would rather name them than pretend otherwise:
- Which product appears at all. One game is covered at product level on this site, and it is the one behind the commercial arrangement. The arrangement came first; the coverage followed. We did not assess the category and select a best option.
- That the site exists. The commission funds the research and writing on every page here, including the pages that have no link in them.
What the commission does not influence
- The content of the guides. The pages on spending, security, family settings, installation, consumer rights and where to get help are written about the category. None of their conclusions change because of the arrangement, and each would read identically if the arrangement ended tomorrow.
- Any verdict on the product. There is none. The game profile page describes what the vendor states and marks every gap as a gap. A site paid to send readers to one product cannot give a credible score, so it does not give one.
- The order or prominence of coverage. Pages are ordered by the harm a reader is most likely to meet, not by what earns.
- What we tell you to check. The profile page tells readers to verify price, classification, chat settings and refund terms on the vendor's own site before creating anything. That advice reduces sign-ups, and it stays.
How the links behave
Affiliate links on this site are ordinary links. They point at the destination shown in your browser's status bar when you hover over them, they are marked with the sponsored and nofollow attributes that search engines use to identify paid links, and they open in a new tab. There is no redirect through this domain, no script that rewrites a link when it is clicked, and no interstitial page between you and the destination.
Nothing on this site redirects automatically. There are no pop-ups, no exit prompts and no gates. If you never click a paid link, every page remains fully readable, which is how we intend it.
Where the disclosure appears
You will find this arrangement disclosed in three places: in a box near the top of the home page, in a line of body text immediately beside every affiliate link on the site, and here in full. That repetition is intentional. A reader who arrives on the game profile page from a search result should learn about the commercial relationship in the same screen as the link, not after following it.
Independence, stated accurately
This site is commercially interested in one product and independent of every other. The honest description is a funded publication with a narrow paid scope and a broad unpaid one, and that is the description we use. We do not claim to be an independent review site, because a review site with one paying product is not one.
What we can offer instead is verifiability. Claims about Australian law, regulators and consumer services link to the bodies that publish them, so you can check any of it without taking our word for anything. That, rather than a claim of independence, is the basis on which we ask you to weigh what is written here.
